2010 Mike Schneider
Hello
(C. De Voll)
Hello, hello, hello,
What a wonderful word hello.
Hello, hello, hello,
You will hear it wherever you go.
And when you greet your friends at polka dances,
Or even someone you don't know that passes,
Hello, hello, hello,
What a wonderful word hello.

Scrub, Scrub, Scrub
(M. Schneider)
My hands are
really dirty; I don't know what to say.
It happened with my friends when we went out to play.
My hands are really filthy and I don't know what to do.
Uncle Mike has some tips that he wrote just for you.
You've got to scrub, scrub, scrub,
To get your hands real clean.
From your palms to your fingernails,
And places in between.
Scrub, scrub, scrub,
And the soap please don't forget.
Turn the water on,
And you will be all set.
My hands were really dirty, I didn't know what to do.
It happened while I painted, the paint just turned them blue.
My hands were really filthy, but Uncle Mike helped me.
Now my hands are all clean, and his advice was free.

Dance, Dance, Dance
(F. Yankovic, J.
Trolli)
Come on and dance, Dance, Dance.
Dance all your troubles away.
Just try to dance, dance, dance.
Life can be happy that way.
And as the band plays more while you twirl around the floor,
You'll be twirling with the one you adore.
Be it a polka they play as you dance the night away,
You're dancing with your love forevermore.

If You’re Happy and You Know It
(trad.)
If you're
happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it, clap your hands.
If you're happy and you know it, stomp your feet.
If you're happy and you know it, stomp your feet.
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it, stomp your feet.
If you're happy and you know it, say hooray.
If you're happy and you know it, say hooray.
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it, say hooray.
If you're happy and you know it, do all three.
If you're happy and you know it, do all three.
If you're happy and you know it,
Then your face will surely show it.
If you're happy and you know it, do all three.

Alphabetical Order in the Court
(M. Schneider)
This all got its start
one day,
When Jack said that B comes before A.
Then Jill just had to shout back,
"There's no way you've got that right, Jack!"
This story goes on and on,
People getting the alphabet all wrong.
So what are we going to do?
Let's have an alphabetical order review!
A is the letter that starts it all off,
B comes before C, which helps spell cough.
Next is D, E, F, and away we go.
Which starts with G, then comes H, I, J, K, L, M, N, and O.
Just like the job you're doing, perfect starts with P,
Then the next letters are Q, R, S, and T.
U, V, W, won't you follow me?
All the way to the end with X, Y, and Z.
Once Jack heard the news he said,
"You're right Jill, I don't know what got into my head."
And with that this case was closed.
The judge put his gavel down and proposed,
That Jack be sentenced to,
Another alphabetical order review.
So with Jack let's sing along,
Our happy polka alphabetical song.

Tick Tock Polka
(G.
Lama, S. Guski, R.J. Martino)
Tick,
tick, tick, tock, goes the clock on the wall,
As we're dancing the evening away.
Tick, tick, tick, tock, goes my heart with the clock,
Beating time while the music is played.
Tick, tick, tick, tock, is the rhythm it plays,
And I know it won't make you feel blue.
Tick, tick, tick, tock, goes my heart with the clock,
For it knows I am dancing with you.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la,
la, la, la.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la,
la, la, la.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la,
la, la, la.
La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la,
la, la, la.

Rolling Down the Road
(J.
Miskulin)
Rolling down the road,
In a Mack truck full of music,
I'm bound for polka city USA.
There's a bulldog on the radiator,
Swaying to the rhythm,
Whenever polka music starts to play.
Now if you should ever see me,
When you're driving down the highway,
Just honk your horn in polka harmony.
Cause I'll be rolling down the road,
In a Mack truck full of music,
Polka city is the only place for me.

La dee da, la dee da,

Please and Thank You
(M.
Schneider)
When do
you say please,
and when do you say thank you?
Just say please if you would like a coat.
Say thank you if you've received a boat.
If your name is Molly and you would like a dolly,
Say please if you want something,
And thank you once you got it.
Say please and thank you, it really is polite.
Say please and thank you, the words come out just right.
Say please and thank you, it's the thing to do.
Say please if you want something,
And thank you once you got it.
Just say please if you'd like a piggy bank.
Say thank you if you got a great big tank.
If your name is Shane and you would like a train,
Say please if you want something,
And thank you once you got it.

Hoop Dee Doo
(M.
Delugg, F. Loesser)
Hoop-dee-doo, hoop-dee-doo,
I hear a polka and my troubles are through.
Hoop-dee-doo, hoop-dee-dee,
This kind of music is like heaven to me.
Hoop-dee-doo, hoop-dee-doo,
It's got me higher than a kite.
Hand me down my soup and fish,
I am gonna get my wish,
Hoop-dee-doin' it tonight.
When there's a banjo playing ra-da-da-da-da,
I get a thrill, I always will.
When there's an old accordion stretching out a mile,
I always smile 'cause that's my style.
When there's a fiddle in the middle,
Oh, it really is a riddle,
How they play the tune so sweet,
Play the tune so sweet that I could die.
Lead me to the floor and hear me yell for more,
'Cause I'm a hoop-dee-doing kind of guy.
Hoop-dee-doo, hoop-dee-doo,
I hear a polka and my troubles are through.
Hoop-dee-doo, hoop-dee-dee,
This kind of music is like heaven to me.
Hoop-dee-doo, hoop-dee-doo,
It's got me higher than a kite.
I'm in clover, I'm in bloom,
When I'm dancing give me room.
Hoop-de-doing it with all of my might.
Rain may fall and snow may come,
Nothing's going to stop me from.
Hoop-dee-doin' it,
Hoop-dee-doin' it,
Hoop-dee-doin' it tonight.

Banjo Man
(M. Schneider)
I know a banjo man,
He's the greatest in the land,
He plays on those four strings like no one can.
I'm sure you'll all agree,
He's really good you'll see,
When he plays his tune for you and me.

Fire House Polka
(trad.,
M. Schneider)
The fire
truck leaves the fire house,
On its way to a blazing scene.
The fire men and women fight the fire,
They make an amazing team.
With their hoses aimed at the burning flames,
They put the fire out.
The fire chief thanks them each by name,
Thanks well deserved no doubt.

When You’re
Smiling
(L.
Shay, M. Fisher, J. Goodwin)
When you're smiling, when you're smiling,
The whole world smiles with you.
When you're laughing, when you're laughing,
The sun will come shining through.
But when you're crying, you bring on the rain,
Stop your signing, be happy again.
Keep on smiling, 'cause when you're smiling,
The whole world smiles with you.

Good Night
(G.
Cates, J. Elliott)
Good
night, good night, until we meet again,
Adios, au revoir, auf wiedersehen 'til then.
And though it's always sweet sorrow to part,
You know you'll always remain in my heart.
Good night, sleep tight and pleasant dreams to you,
Here's a wish and a prayer that every dream comes true.
And now until we meet again,
Adios, au revoir, auf wiedersehen.
Good night!
