THE MIKE SCHNEIDER
What a fun month August was, and what a great start September has
gotten off to! But don’t worry: If you missed us at West Bend
Germanfest, Oak Creek Lions Fest, or any of the other fantastic stops
we made over the last few weeks, we have a lot more in store for you
This weekend marks our
return to several long standing events, starting on Friday with Light
the Lamp Brewery in Grayslake, IL for their annual Oktoberfest.
Saturday, we have a doubleheader starting at the Platzkonzert in
Hoffman Estates, IL, followed by a very quick turnaround to get to St.
Dismas in Waukegan, IL for their Polka Mass and dinner dance. Sunday,
we’ll be back at our family’s home parish of St. Gregory the Great in
Milwaukee. All three of our kids were baptized there, and aside from a
couple of COVID years, we’ve played there I think every year since
2007 or so. Looking forward to visiting again this Sunday!
There is a ton more
coming up over the next few weeks, including our kickoff of
Gemuetlichkeit Days where we’ll serve as the opening act for Mollie
B., Ted Lange and Squeezebox! Be sure to consult the schedule below
and visit the Schedule page at
www.mikeschneiderband.com for updates as they come in!
PINT SIZE POLKAS
While the bulk of my big travels are done for the year, I still have a
few Pint Size Polkas shows coming up, including the Chippewa Falls
Oktoberfest on Saturday, September 17, plus a quick trip to Kentucky
in October! Check out the Events page for
details on all my upcoming family programs.
As always, be
sure to join our growing list of fans on Facebook
here, or the Mike Schneider Band
here. Once you’re there, click the

That's all for this
month. I hope to see you at a festival or library near you soon!
